HK689C Professional 1000A True RMS Clamp Meter

Features

  • 1000A AC current measurement: Four selectable ranges—6A, 60A, 600A and 1000A—for checking electrical loads.
  • True RMS measurement: Supports AC troubleshooting where waveforms may be non-sinusoidal.
  • 1000V AC/DC voltage measurement: Covers low-voltage signals through higher-voltage electrical measurements.
  • VFD and motor testing functions: Combines VFD mode, inrush current testing and peak hold for equipment diagnostics.
  • LoZ AC/DC mode: Helps distinguish induced ghost voltages from a connected voltage source.
  • DC microamp measurement: Dedicated 200μA and 2000μA ranges for low-current testing.
  • Multiple diagnostic functions: Includes NCV, live wire recognition, phase sequence detection and a 30mA RCD test function.
  • Convenient reading and recording: Backlight, flashlight, analog bar, data hold, relative mode and MAX/MIN/AVG functions.

The HK689C True RMS AC clamp meter combines AC current measurement up to 1000A with AC/DC voltage measurement up to 1000V. Its 6A, 60A, 600A and 1000A AC current ranges support electrical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and load checks across a variety of applications.

For motor and drive diagnostics, the HK689C includes VFD mode, inrush current testing and peak hold. LoZ AC/DC voltage measurement helps reduce the influence of ghost voltages, while NCV detection and live wire recognition support preliminary wiring checks.

Additional functions include DC microamp measurement, resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature testing. A backlit LCD, analog bar display and built-in flashlight make readings easier to view in dim work areas.
